U.S Homeland Security Department’s disaster planning

The U.S Homeland Security Department has mandated ongoing precautionary measures to help protect the region in the wake of a natural or man-made catastrophe, said Jack Burns Hudson OEM Coordinator.

Burns office is also continuting to work with a team of Rutgers University consultants to plan an emergency evacuation route for the Hudson and metropolitan area that must be completed by January 2010. (NJ.com)
