Homeland Security providing grants to nonprofits

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced the availability of $15 million nationally towards nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of terrorist attack. Local grant applications will be coordinated through the Austin Urban Area Security Initiative and the Governor’s Division of Emergency Management will administer the program in Texas. (BizJournals)
