“The World Bank’s Washington buildings, including its headquarters near the White House, will be closed today as a precaution after a bomb threat.

“World Bank Group Corporate Security is investigating a bomb threat received by telephone,” the lender said in a statement posted on its Web site.  ‘The bank is working with law enforcement officials to determine the validity of the threat.”” (Bloomberg)
